Meet the Couple
Shrenik and Ria wanted their wedding to be soulful, elegant, and unlike anything seen before. When it came to the mandap, Ria would often ask, “What’s the concept? What’s the design?” But finally, with a smile, she said, “You know what, surprise us.”
That moment gave the team at Crafting Memories the creative freedom to dream big and create something truly iconic.
The Mandap Design
Inspired by the infinity symbol, the mandap was conceptualized as a sculptural installation that stood gracefully against the Goan shoreline. The design represented continuity, balance, and the infinite nature of love.
- 32,000 white roses were layered meticulously over a custom-built infinity loop frame.
- The structure took 10 days of fabrication, ensuring every angle and curve was both structurally sound and visually poetic.
- The result? A mandap that felt like an artwork, minimal, modern, and awe-inspiring.
Balancing Tradition & Modernity
Ria’s mother had a heartfelt request to include chori matki, a cultural symbol. While it initially seemed at odds with the sleek design, the team found a beautiful solution, fishbowl-shaped matkis that blended seamlessly into the floral installation.
This thoughtful detail created the perfect balance, a nod to tradition within a contemporary masterpiece.
The Final Look
On the wedding day, as the ocean breeze swept through and the infinity loop glistened under the sun, the mandap came alive. Guests were mesmerized, the couple was moved to tears, and the atmosphere was filled with awe.
It was not just a backdrop, it became a story, a visual metaphor for Shrenik & Ria’s infinite love.
